You can buy a private swimming, pool, and tennis court at the same time.
Just use the keyword ‘private’ and you can buy them all in one swoop.
That’s what I did for $31,000 in two days on Craigslist.
I bought the property for $28,000.
I knew I wanted a pool for my backyard, so I contacted a local swimming instructor.
He recommended a private pool.
After two hours of research, I was ready to buy.
I called the local swimming school and the instructor was quick to answer.
“They’re going to need someone to do a pool assessment and make sure it’s safe and legal,” the instructor said.
“You can rent a pool.
It’s $30 per day.”
I called a friend and we both agreed to rent a large pool, which was the perfect price.
The pool was rented for a week, and we had it for just over two months.
When the time came to pay the deposit, I used the online payment method to make my purchase.
That’s when I realized I was going to have to get a credit card.
Credit cards are incredibly easy to use, but it takes a little bit of time to learn.
So, after spending the weekend getting the best pool equipment, I went to my bank to make sure I had the right amount of money.
Once I made the payment, I sent the money to the rental company.
It was about an hour later when the manager arrived.
The manager was incredibly helpful and friendly, so we were able to pay and begin our journey to purchase the pool.
After a quick tour, we got the pool in the mail.
We put it up for sale and waited for the other party to get the keys.
I was nervous.
But after I showed my girlfriend the pool, she was like, “Oh, this is amazing!”
We spent the next few days getting the pool ready, including a full-time pool manager.
In the end, we spent $31k.
And now, I’m going to spend the rest of my life learning about this wonderful process.
