Bizarre images have emerged of what appears to be a children’s swimming pool at a beach in the South Australian town of Lismore.
Key points:A sign on the playground at the beach says “children’s pool”, but is it really a swimming pool?
Lismore council has issued a statement saying it was not a swimming facility and will remove it.
The council said it has asked local authorities for an update.
It is believed the pool was built for the local community in the 1960s.
But locals have expressed concern over the sign and say they are worried about the safety of the children in the area.
They also say it is not in keeping with the neighbourhood.
