The Drowners, a British band from Belfast, is the most successful band in modern history, with five albums and seven top-five singles.
Their first album was 2011’s ‘The End of the Road’, and the follow-up, ‘Bury My Love’, was released in 2015.
The band’s third album, ‘The River of Blood’, was a huge success and has sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
It has also been a big hit with critics, winning five Grammys, including Album of the Year.
The band will be touring the UK for the first time in 2017.
In a recent interview with the Irish Examiner, Drowner frontman Mick Jagger described the band’s songs as ‘like a very slow, slow, dark music’.
‘The Drenching’ is their seventh album and is the bands first in the British Isles.
Jagger said the songs are inspired by the natural and the dark, and his own experiences of depression.’
The songs are very dark, very sad and I find myself being in my darkest moments, I’m in my deepest moments and it’s very affecting,’ he said.’
I don’t know what the next record will be about, but I know that it’s a dark record.’
It’s the darkest record that we’ve ever made and that’s what it is, a dark album.’
You’ve got a dark mood, you’ve got an uplifting mood and then you’ve also got some very upbeat, uplifting songs.’
People can get carried away when they sing these songs, they can get lost in them.’
There’s some really lovely moments on the record and we’ve got some really dark, dark songs too.’
The band are also touring the U.S.A. and Europe in 2017, with dates in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the U!
