When a cat dies, its body is washed into a washing machine

A man who says he was given a washing device to dispose of his cat’s body after the cat died said it was a good idea because it could save other animals from similar fate.
Troy Tynan said his cat, Barbies, died in a plastic shopping bag in his home on Tuesday, June 28, after his wife left the house for a day at work.
“I was looking at Barbies in the plastic bag when the plastic turned to mud and then to ice,” he said.
The family said they were using a vacuum cleaner to remove the wet plastic bag and then a washing-machine to wash Barbies’ body.
Mr Tynal says he never believed the bag could be used to wash his cat.
His wife told the ABC that the washing machine went off too early and Barbies fell into a sink and drowned.
A few days later, Barbie’s body was washed into the washing-room machine and a friend of the family took it out and washed it with water, the ABC reported.
She said it took about 15 minutes for the washing to stop.
When Barbies died, Mr Tyns body was left to rot in the sink, he said, adding that the family didn’t believe the body could be washed until it was covered with water.
He said the family is now considering whether to bury Barbies and dispose of the body.
